We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor with an artistic approach to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on editing wedding videos and creating captivating reels that resonate with our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and create compelling and engaging videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and other marketing channels.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts, storyboards, and scripts.
- Select and edit video footage, add effects, graphics, and transitions to enhance the overall video quality.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all video content.
- Optimize videos for different platforms and screen sizes.
- Manage and organize video files and assets for efficient workflow.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and technologies to enhance video quality and production efficiency.
- Contribute creative ideas and innovative solutions to improve video content and production processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and diverse video projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Solid understanding of video production principles, including composition, lighting, audio, and color grading.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Familiarity with various video formats and codecs.
Education and Experience:
- Matric degree in film, video production, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience in video editing.
